World Egg Day
World Egg Day was established by the WEO (formerly IEC) in 1996, as a global celebration of the benefits of eggs and their importance in human nutrition. The WEO continues to facilitate and amplify the World Egg Day message, providing a number of resources to support the industry.

Young Egg Leaders (YEL)
Established to develop the next generation of egg industry leaders and support the continual growth of the global egg industry, the WEO Young Egg Leaders programme is a two-year bespoke personal development programme for young leaders in egg producing and processing companies.

Awards
Each year we celebrate the outstanding achievement of organisations and individuals from within the egg industry with awards for International Egg Person of the Year, Egg Products Company of the year, Golden Egg Award for Eggsellence in Marketing and the Vision 365 Egg Innovation Award.

Nutrition
The egg is a nutrition powerhouse, containing most of the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants required by the body. The WEO shares ideas, resources and scientific research to support the global egg industry to develop their own nutritionally focused strategies and programmes.
